Country Cuisine Sporting & Working Dog provides a balanced, complete food for your dog which is high in quality protein and is naturally hypoallergenic, grain, gluten and white potato-free. Our recipe is a combination of 80% meat content and 20% fruits, vegetables, minerals and health-supporting botanicals. A careful selection of venison, lamb, duck and rabbit gives a variety of meat-based proteins which are highly digestible with a protein digestibility (Pepsin value) 88.7%. Country Cuisine, if re-hydrated, would contain 260g of high-quality meat for every 100g of product. The raw ingredients are gently steam cooked at approximately 82 degrees Celsius producing a highly digestible food that retains as much of the natural balance as possible. Once cooled, organic vitamins, minerals and trace elements are added to support your dog's ability to absorb essential nutrients. In addition, the inclusion of prebiotics supports overall digestion and gut health. The addition of coconut oil to this recipe supports healthy skin and a glossy coat. When transitioning from another brand to Eden Holistic Pet Foods, please ensure this is done gradually. We suggest introducing your pets to Eden over a 10-14 day period, increasing Eden by a maximum of 10% a day and reducing their current food by 10% per day, before eventually being fully converted onto Eden products. Once your pet has been introduced fully to Eden you don't need to transition to other Eden recipes.
